Who We Are

Commonwealth Center for Change (C3) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide quality, affordable program and office space, shared resources and capacity building services to Northampton area nonprofits and artists so they can do their work more effectively, sustainably and collaboratively.

What We Do

* C3 is a Nonprofit Center that helps tenant organizations serve their constituencies more successfully by providing affordable, high quality office and program space, shared meeting space and back office infrastructure.
* C3 offers capacity building resources to tenants and other local nonprofits that help them create sturdy, viable infrastructure and an organizational culture committed to excellence. These programs and services will cover the full range of nonprofit management.
* C3 contains a media lab and design studio with resources designed to help overcome the ‘digital divide’ that keeps many in our community from taking advantage of the opportunities for growth and success that come with full media literacy.
* C3 provides studio, exhibition and gathering space for local artists, both at the Center and through C3’s innovative storefront ART program, which uses empty downtown storefronts to provide temporary space to local artists.
