Current initiatives
Time Banks - In collaboration with the Pedal People and Community Action, C3 is creating a local TimeBank- a tool for strengthening communities across diversity. One hour equals one Time Dollar – the system is based on five principles including 1. All people have assets, 2. Reciprocity makes communities stronger, 3. Interconnection – we all need each other, 4. Much work is priceless – caring for friends and loved ones for example, and 5. Respect. Tell me more!
Common Wealth Exchange - match making for people, knowledge, skills, time and space; a facilitated meeting to learn from and give to your community and connect with the resources you need. The purpose of the Common Wealth Exchange is to facilitate the flow of knowledge, skills, time & space so that local organizations, artists and community conscious groups can survive and thrive. The Kirkland Ave Project - a series of public art events, workshops, performances, and murals designed to bring people together to make art, think creatively, and build community in an alternative public space. Arts Night Out - We're facilitating a renewed sense of vim and vigor into Northampton's monthly gallery walk with other local art organizations and venues. If you'd like to volunteer or participate as a venue or sponsoring business email Julia.
Valley Art Share- We designed and administer this online arts community for the Pioneer Valley. Valley Art Share is also where we post open calls and review portfolios for storefrontART. Take me there!
